Central is currently recruiting for a Support Assistant to work in the Enfield area. The service provides 24 hour supported housing to support clients with long and enduring mental health needs with a focus on improving the quality of life of customers, and build their confidence and skills to allow them to live independently whilst playing an active role in their communities.
The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday - Sunday, on a rota basis of early and late shifts, on an ongoing basis for a minimum of 3 months. The pay rate for this role is £9.23 per hour.
In this position, you will work with a Support Officer, providing support services to customers through a support planning system. You will use SMART goal planning to provide needs led holistic support, and create an environment that promotes opportunities for customers to develop, learn and enable skills towards independence.
To apply for this role, you must have experience of working with clients with mental health support needs. You must also have experience of supervising clients with medication. You will not be required to administer medication, but candidates should have an understanding of this area.
