We are currently recruiting for a permanent Care & Support Assistant, to work in the Camden area.

In this role you will be working in a CQC registered residential mental health service for people with complex mental health needs in Camden. The service provides accommodation to 13 customers with high support needs including a range of mental health issues such as schizophrenia and personality disorders.
The aim of the service is to enable users to develop the necessary skills to live independently working jointly with customers, their families, friends and agencies involved in their care and support.

This role offers full-time hours, covering 37.5 hours per week across Monday - Sunday, with an annual salary of £18,500. You will be required to work on a rota basis, with shifts of:
- 7:30AM - 3:30PM
- 8AM - 4PM
- 1PM - 9PM
- 2PM - 10PM

You will be required to provide hands on care, including supporting clients with personal care as and when required. You may be required to support and prompt users to take their medication and administer when appropriate. You will assist in the delivery of a high quality, person centred care & support service which reflects best practice and present a positive, welcoming and efficient environment.

To be considered for these roles, you will ideally have:
- Experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
- Experience working in a CQC setting
- A qualification in food hygiene
- A well-organised approach, team ethos and good communication skills
- Good level of IT skills and literacy
- The ability to work on a rota basis over 7 days
- An understanding of Safeguarding Adults
- Knowledge and understanding of up to date legislation, government frameworks relevant to the customer group. Specifically, around communication needs, values and person centred working.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
