Central is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a contract post in the Harrow area. We are recruiting on behalf of a customer, as part of the Carers Trust Network, the largest UK wide charity for the nation's 7 million unpaid carers.

In this role, the successful candidate will be implementing and continuing to grow the Working for Carers Programme - a London-wide project that supports unpaid carers, aged 25 or over, to move closer to employment.

The salary for this vacancy is £30,000 FTE, and is fixed term until September 2019. The appointed candidate will cover 35 hours per week, operating from a base in Harrow.

The post holder will be responsible for a comprehensive employment support project for unemployed and economically inactive unpaid carers across Hounslow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Hammersmith & Fulham. The project includes a range of activities that can be tailored to meet individual carers needs, including one-to-one support, peer and group activities and time-limited in-work support to enable sustainable employment.
This project is delivered as part of a wider programme of activity across all London boroughs with an effective and replicable service delivery model for employability support services supporting unpaid carers.

We are looking for an approachable, collaborative and highly organised person with experience of project management and effective relationship development skills. The post holder will also provide management and leadership to 3 Employment Personal Advisors who will be delivering the programme directly to unpaid carers across Hounslow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Hammersmith & Fulham as well as 2 part-time administration officers. It is therefore key that you have effective people management skills alongside highly developed analytical skills to manage their outputs and clearly detail results and progress towards set targets and outcomes for unpaid carers.

Applicants must be willing to work outside of office hours, and be able to travel to all locations, as above.

The closing date for this role is the 13th of November, with interviews scheduled to take place as soon as possible. Candidates must be immediately available to commence work, however candidates who are interested in the role and are currently in employment are invited to apply for further information.
