Trainee Finance Administrator
basic + career progression | Islington | Permanent | Immediate start

We are searching for an organised and efficient individual with excellent attention to detail to join our busy and diverse finance team. The successful candidate will learn and undertake all the administration tasks related to the back office functions of our successful specialist recruitment agency business, including; worker and customer liaison, timesheet management, weekly and monthly payrolls, invoicing and credit control.

This role incorporates a lot of customer interaction via telephone and email, therefore excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills are essential, in addition to well-developed numeracy skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.

The successful candidate will be provided with intensive, ongoing training and support and will have the opportunity to develop their career through our senior programme.

Key responsibilities:

*First point of contact for workers and customers
*Running accurate and efficient weekly and monthly payrolls
*Management of our online timesheet processes and associated administration
*Raising and sending out invoices
*Processing new starters and leavers
*Managing holiday pay queries
*Reconciliation of training and eLearning receipts and invoices
*Pension processing
*Credit control
*Submission of RTI, P32
*Management and processing of Attachment of Earnings

You'll need to be:

*Educated to degree level or have significant professional experience
*Experienced in customer service or administration within a busy office environment
*A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written attention to detail
*Exceptional at using interpersonal skills to develop professional relationships with customers and workers
*Naturally well-organised
*Analytical and able to problem solve quickly
*Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
*Proficient with a range of IT systems, including MS Office programmes
