Moving and Handling
This one-day course is mandatory for anyone supporting customers with moving and handling.
The course aims to introduce delegates to the principles and practice of moving and handling. Delegates will learn techniques to ensure moving and handling is managed safely for both worker and customer.

· Moving and handling techniques
· Knowledge of the spine and avoiding spinal injuries
· Completing risk assessments
· Hoists and sling equipment
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone with responsibility for moving and handling within social care and candidates working towards the NVQ Level 2 in Care.
