Central Training's Introduction to CBT is designed to introduce delegates to the Cognitive Behavioural approach and how it can be utilised in day-to-day practice. The trainer will focus on the 10 Principles of CBT, the Automatic Negative Thoughts and their impact and the ABC Model of Cognitive Behavioural Theory. Throughout this interactive day, the candidates will have the opportunity to explore different tools and exercises to be able to support their clients in a more holistic way.

The course aims to equip delegates with the skills to:
  • Understand the CBT approach and how to utilise this in day to day practice

  • Gain an understanding around Core Beliefs and Dysfunctional Assumptions
