Psych Theory: An Introduction

Course Overview



Central Training's Introduction to Psych Theory is designed to introduce delegates to different Psychological and Psychoanalytical approaches. Delegates will be introduced to different Psych theories and explore different approaches and beliefs to be able to support their clients in a more holistic way.


Learning Outcomes


The course aims to equip delegates with the skills to:
  • Understand Attachment Theory and John Bowlby's approach
  • Gain an understanding around Loss, Separation and Grief
  • Unpack Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
  • Understand Behavioural Psychology and Conditioning
  • Explore how the basic approaches can be implemented into interaction and understanding

    This training is interactive and employs, group work, presentations and case discussions. Delegates are provided with comprehensive learner notes to facilitate learning.
