Course Overview


Central Training's Reflective Practice Skills training is an interactive session designed to ensure delegates are equipped with tools and reflective practice theory to be able to assess and review their own work, look to make adjustments towards best practice, and increase awareness around disclosure, self-review and non-verbal communication.

Learning Outcomes


This course aims to equip delegates with the skills to:
  • Explore the importance of reflection and awareness
  • Reflect on their own practice, including action and approach
  • Explore the Driscoll Model of Reflection around further learning
  • Develop observational skills and sensitivity around communication whilst incorporating group skills and basic counselling skills
  • Gain greater understanding around disclosure and professional boundaries
  • Explore within practice implementation how to deliver reflective practice approach and support delegates to focus on change and deeper thinking
  • Explore how to achieve desired outcomes and goals within group focus
