This course is designed for staff within the social care field who wish to have a greater understanding of equality and diversity within society, exploring different attitudes, challenging conversations and inclusion, as well as how this relates to their role within the workplace.
The course aims to equip delegates with the skills to: Develop a deeper understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Create a work environment in which Diversity can thrive Recognise Social Hierarchies and Sources of Oppression Develop awareness around Unconscious Bias Understand implementation of EDI and the range of effects on clients Apply EDI best practice and good outcomes Navigate challenging situations and conversations
