Team Building Workshop - New Course!

Duration

½ day- 1 day

Course Overview

'Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work'. - Vince Lombardi

All teams need maintenance. Simply assuming that a team is functioning well is rather like assuming that a car doesn't need an MOT or a service. When a team is working well team days help members and leaders to identify why this is the case, so that the good work can continue, and to focus on positive improvements which can take the team to even higher levels of effectiveness.

When a team isn't performing well or there is dissatisfaction or dysfunction morale plummets, members become less communicative, less motivated and, therefore, less effective. Well facilitated team days allow time out from the day to day work to reflect in a safe environment on what is going well and what members/leaders would like to improve. They provide an opportunity to begin work on an action plan, which helps improve focus, commitment and efficiency.

Our team building days are designed specifically according to the individual needs of the team involved and the organization they work for. As such, the following programme is designed to help you consider what could be covered on a team day, what we actually do will be up to you!

Methods of Delivery

Team days are designed to be highly practical and experiential.
The facilitator will work to maximize group participation and where appropriate make observations and challenges.
Exercises will include ice breakers, individual exercises, small and whole group work.
