Course Overview

This one-day course is designed to develop delegates' risk assessment and management skills, culminating in the development of customer-involved SMART goals designed to eliminate, avoid or reduce identified risks to 'safe' levels. As an open course this day takes a generic approach and it is not aimed at one particular customer group. Organisations with specific requirements may wish to consider a more tailored course to be delivered in-house.

  • Differentiate between risks 'to' the customer, and risks 'by' the customer
  • Consider different methods to assess the degree of risk
  • Identify common areas of risk and vulnerability
  • Review different management strategies
  • Recognise why and how to involve customers in their risk assessments
  • Practice how to set SMART goals in conjunction with customers

  • Methods of Delivery
