Health & Safety in the Workplace - Level 3 QCF/RQF Duration 3 days Course Overview This qualification has been designed for managers, supervisors and team leaders, or those who are preparing to start work at this level, to gain a good understanding of health and safety that would be relevant within their workplace. Learning Outcomes The legal framework relating to health and safety at work The main causes of injuries and ill health at work Safety management systems The costs associated with accidents and ill health The benefits of risk assessment and the different types available Understanding workplace hazards and minimising ill health and injuries Managing the effects of accidents and incidents in the workplace Methods of Delivery This course contains both practical and theoretical elements, so participation is shared between the trainer and the delegates. Course handouts are used for reference; there is also a PowerPoint presentation, flip chart work, group exercises, displays and demonstrations.
