Course Overview Central Training's Professional Boundaries, GDPR & Good Practice course aims to provide delegates with the skills to maintain professional boundaries, work in line with current legislation and good practice, and manage information safely and appropriately within a support setting.
The course explores the principles of professionalism, including the purpose of professional boundaries, safeguarding, whistleblowing, confidentiality and appropriate self-disclosure. Delegates will also develop an understanding of their responsibilities under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the safe collection, storage and sharing of personal information in line with legal and organisational requirements.

Methods of Delivery The course is highly interactive and combines trainer presentations, PowerPoint and flipchart work with pairs work, small group work, large group discussions, exercises and quizzes.
