Course Overview



The Principles of Fire Safety course provides information and hands on experience to qualify the delegates as Fire Marshals / Wardens. The training enables the delegates to assist the "Responsible Person" in undertaking fire risk assessment, prevention / inspection duties, planning of fire drills & taking control in the event of a fire at work according to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

  • Fire Risk Assessment: importance & the legal requirements
  • Causes of fire, the way fire spreads & the methods used to control fires
