Central is currently recruiting for a Tenancy Support Assistant, to work in the Lambeth area. The service provides a floating support service to support clients with generic complex needs, to prevent tenancy breakdown, improve quality of life and promote independence.
The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday-Friday 9AM - 5PM, and Thursday 7PM on a 2 to 3 weeks rota basis. Cover is required for 2-3 months. The pay rate for this role is £9.75 per hour.
In this position, you will have a caseload of clients, providing support services to customers through a support planning system. You will carry out assessments to identify and prioritise needs, and use SMART goal planning. You will also provide effective, high quality, responsive housing related support and advice on housing difficulties, e.g. rent arrears or neighbour disputes, as well as crisis intervention for people under the threat of eviction.
To apply for this role, you must have experience of developing needs and risk assessments, and a good understanding of goal setting and advocacy. You must have experience in a floating support role, with a demonstrable knowledge of Housing and other related Legislation.
The closing date for this role is 16.07.2018 with Interviews to take place on 18.07.2018 and the appointed candidate expected to start on 23.07.2018
