Central are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work in the King's Cross area.
The successful candidate will be working with clients with complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness and mental health issues in a hostel service.
The successful candidate will need to be able to commit to a rolling rota of two early shifts, two late shifts and two days off, providing cover over 7 days a week. Cover is required for 2-3 months. The pay rate for this role is £11.20 per hour.
In this position, you will undertake a range of activities with clients which assist in the implementation of current support plan objectives and focus on developing clients' confidence to undertake the skills they need to live independently. This may include conducting key working sessions and completing risk assessments.
You will also be supporting the team in carrying out housing management functions including health and safety checks, repair and maintenance checks, supporting clients, and carrying out void inspections.
To apply for this role, you must have experience of keyworking a caseload of clients, conducting risk assessments and a knowledge of safeguarding. You must also have some experience of working with this client group in a similar role.
